Swedish Musicians & Artists

Hardly a year goes by when there are not surprise visits to our village by Swedish musicians and artists. These visits are supported by the Arts Council in partnership with our community’s other wonderful organizations. Choruses, dance troupes, craftsmen, even a jazz band, have come to Bishop Hill to share their talents. The Vasa Lodge #683, the Bishop Hill Heritage Association, the Bishop Hill Old Settlers’ Association, Vasa National Archives, and Bishop Hill State Historic Site all help support these surprise appearances.
